What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store. Related technologies — local storage and session storage — do a similar job. They can be used for genuinely useful things like remembering a preference, and for tracking people across websites to target advertising.
What this site uses
No advertising, remarketing or social media tracking cookies are set. What is set is operational, plus Google Analytics:
- Essential storage used by our application platform to keep the site working correctly during your visit.
- Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*), which distinguish one visitor from another so page counts are not wildly wrong. They carry a random identifier, not your name, and IP anonymisation is enabled.
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability. These are logs, not cookies, and are not used to profile you.
Third-party services you choose to use
If you tap a WhatsApp link, WhatsApp (Meta) will apply its own cookies and policies once you are in its app or site. The same is true of your phone's dialler or email client. Those are outside this website and outside our control.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings, browse in a private window, or install Google's official opt-out add-on. Refusing analytics cookies does not change how the site works — nothing on this site is gated behind them.
If this changes
If we add a third-party chat widget or any advertising technology, we will update this page before or when it goes live, and will seek consent where the law requires it. See our privacy policy for how enquiry data is handled.
