How to choose
Which of these do you actually need?
There are 31 services on this page and most people need two or three of them. The distinctions that matter are not stylistic — they are about scope, how the work is priced, and how much of your building has to be opened up. This section is the shortest honest route through them.
Nothing here is a quotation. Every range is indicative and set by finish level, hardware brand and how much civil work sits behind the surface; the number that binds us is the itemised quote issued after a measured site visit.
Whole home, or one room at a time?
If more than three rooms are in scope, a whole-home package costs less than the same rooms bought one at a time. You pay for one mobilisation, one measurement exercise, one carpentry crew and boards cut from the same batch, and the colours actually match across rooms. Below three rooms, the individual room and element services are the honest answer — you should not be paying a coordination premium for coordination you do not need.
What “turnkey” actually means here
One contract covering design, factory production, civil, electrical, plumbing, painting, installation and handover, with one project manager answerable for all of it. It does not mean no decisions: you still sign off layouts, 3D views, finishes and an itemised quote before anything is cut. The alternative — buy design, then run your own contractors — looks cheaper on paper and usually gives the difference back in rework at the joints between trades, because nobody owns the gap between the electrician and the carpenter.
Per sq ft, or a complete package?
20 of our services are quoted per square foot and 11 per unit or as a complete package. Per-sq-ft pricing suits work where area is the main variable: a full home, a villa, an office floor. Package and per-unit pricing suits work where the count of things is the variable: one kitchen, one wardrobe run, one bathroom. Where we quote per sq ft, it is against the carpet area of the spaces actually being worked on — not super built-up, which would inflate the same job by a fifth for no extra work.
Renovation, or a fresh fit-out?
A fit-out in a newly handed-over flat starts from a bare shell: no demolition, no debris, and nothing hidden. Renovation adds demolition, debris removal, making good, and whatever you find when the wall opens — twenty-year-old aluminium wiring, concealed plumbing at the end of its life, waterproofing that failed under a bathroom floor years ago. Renovation is the right call when the structure and the plan are sound and only the finishes are tired. When the layout itself is wrong, the demolition and making-good bill starts to approach a fresh fit-out, and you should price both before choosing.
BHK packages against “home interior design”
The BHK packages exist because “what does a 2 BHK cost” is a real question with a real answer, and they are scoped against the carpet areas 2 and 3 BHKs in this market actually have. Home interior design is the same work priced by area instead, which is the better fit when your flat does not match the standard plan — a combined duplex, an unusually large two-bedroom, or a home where only the living and dining rooms are in scope this year.
What the indicative number does not include
The ranges on this page cover design, material, factory work, site labour and installation. They do not include GST, society deposits or NOC charges, loose furniture and appliances you buy directly, or structural work that needs municipal permission. Those are listed as separate lines in the quote rather than averaged into a rate, because averaging them is exactly how a quote turns into a surprise.
How long any of it takes
Across the catalogue, delivery runs from 7 days for a false ceiling to 180 days for a hotel or resort, measured from design sign-off rather than from first contact. The clock does not start at the enquiry: measurement, drawings, revisions and the itemised quote come first, and in a housing society the work-hour window set by the society will stretch any on-site phase by a week or more.
Indicative cost
What each service costs, side by side
Indicative ranges across all 31 services, with the unit each is quoted in, the delivery window from design sign-off, and the single variable that moves the number most. Ranges run from essential to luxury specification; a mid-specification project usually lands nearer the lower half than the upper. 20 services are priced per square foot and 11 per unit or as a complete package, so compare the unit column before comparing the numbers.

Indicative only — not a quotation. Figures exclude GST, society or landlord deposits, loose furniture and appliances bought directly, and any structural work requiring municipal permission. Pricing also moves with locality: access, carpet area and finish expectations differ enough across the 474 localities we cover that each locality page carries its own adjusted band.
Residential & commercial
Same design process, different everything else
19 of our services are residential and 12 are commercial, and the split is not a marketing distinction. The design process is broadly the same; almost everything around it differs — who gives permission to start, which consultants have to sign a drawing before a ceiling closes, whether people are using the space while you work in it, and what happens if you miss the date.
Homes price at an indicative ₹800 – ₹5,000 per sq ft and commercial fit-outs at ₹1,000 – ₹7,000, and the gap is mostly services and compliance rather than finish. A flat needs electrical and plumbing inside its own walls. An office floor needs HVAC, fire detection and sprinkler relocation, structured cabling, UPS and generator loads, and a landlord's approval of all of it.
Permission to start
Residential
A housing society NOC, a refundable deposit held against damage to common areas, and work hours fixed by the society — commonly 9am to 6pm with no Sunday work, plus a booked slot on the service lift for every material delivery.
Commercial
Landlord or mall fit-out approval, building management sign-off on your drawings before anything is ordered, and in malls a night-only work window. Independent commercial premises add shop-and-establishment and, for F&B and healthcare, fire and health clearances.
Services coordination
Residential
Electrical and plumbing within the flat, concealed and then covered by the ceiling and the joinery. One coordination drawing usually settles it.
Commercial
HVAC, fire detection and sprinklers, structured cabling, access control, UPS and DG loads — relocated and tested, then signed off before any ceiling closes. The services drawing drives the programme, and reopening a closed ceiling is the most expensive mistake on a commercial site.
Site condition
Residential
Usually empty, or you live in two rooms while we work in the rest. Dust containment and a daily clean matter more than anything else when the home is occupied.
Commercial
Often a running operation. Work gets phased by zone, pushed to nights and weekends, or taken in a planned shutdown; crews clear gate security and a site induction before they start, and in a factory the phasing follows shift changes.
What fixes the date
Residential
Possession, a wedding, a school term, or the end of a rental agreement you are paying for twice.
Commercial
Lease commencement with rent already running, a launch date that has been advertised, a franchise fit-out window, or a regulatory or brand audit. The programme is worked backwards from that date, which is usually fixed before the design is.
How the finish is judged
Residential
From a foot away. Shutter gaps, edge banding, how a drawer closes in year three, and whether the veneer grain runs continuously across a wall.
Commercial
On wear and compliance. Abrasion rating on flooring, cleanable and chemical-resistant surfaces, fire-rated boards and fabrics where the licence requires them, and detailing that survives a hundred people a day without looking tired.
Furniture and fittings
Residential
Bespoke joinery, factory-finished and installed, plus a loose furniture and soft furnishing list you can take over yourself if you prefer.
Commercial
FF&E procured against a written specification, with lead times, warranty terms and spares planned in — the detail that matters when one chair in a set of sixty breaks in month four.
What you get at the end
Residential
An itemised final bill, warranty documents for hardware and appliances, a deep clean, styling and a handover walkthrough.
Commercial
As-built drawings for the landlord, an asset list for capitalisation, GST invoicing against the entity, and the compliance certificates a fire, food or health licence depends on.

Interior services for homes
Grouped by what you are actually buying rather than listed alphabetically. Each service has its own page with scope, materials, an itemised cost breakdown and the localities it covers. 18 of the 19 residential services are available in all 474 localities we work in. The exception is farmhouse interior design (102 localities), listed only where the locality genuinely supports that kind of building.
6 services
Whole-home packages
Everything in the flat, under one scope and one programme. Buy one of these when more than three rooms are in play: a single mobilisation, one set of site measurements and one carpentry crew cost less than the same rooms bought separately over three years.
- Home Interior DesignFrom ₹1,200 per sq ft
The default when the whole flat is in scope and the carpet area does not match a standard BHK plan — a knocked-through duplex, an odd 1,250 sq ft two-bedroom, a flat where only the public rooms are being done.
- 1 BHK Interior DesignFrom ₹3.5 L complete package
Compact homes where every decision is a storage decision: a bed that lifts, a dining table that folds, a loft over every door.
- 2 BHK Interior DesignFrom ₹5.5 L complete package
The most common brief we price. Scoped against the carpet areas 2 BHKs in this market actually have, so the package number is a real number rather than a rounded one.
- 3 BHK Interior DesignFrom ₹9 L complete package
Where a home starts carrying feature work — a TV wall, a pooja unit, a foyer — rather than just storage and surfaces.
- 4 BHK & Penthouse InteriorsFrom ₹18 L complete package
Large apartments and penthouses, where custom furniture, automation and imported stone make the specification, not the floor plan.
- Turnkey Interior SolutionsFrom ₹1,500 per sq ft
One contract across design, factory, civil, electrical, plumbing, painting and installation, with one person answerable for all of it.

Independent houses & second homes
Villas, bungalows and farmhouses have no society NOC, no lift constraint and no work-hour cap — and no stored-water buffer, no service lift and often single-phase power until it is upgraded. The design gains freedom and the logistics get harder.
- Villa Interior DesignFrom ₹2,000 per sq ft
Independent villas with their own structure to work with: double-height volumes, a staircase that is seen from everywhere, and truck access that makes single-piece stone possible.
- Bungalow Interior DesignFrom ₹1,800 per sq ft
Older independent houses being brought up to date room by room, usually with joinery made to fit walls that are not square.
- Farmhouse Interior DesignFrom ₹1,500 per sq ft
Weekend houses and plotted homes on the fringe, specified for dust, termite pressure and weeks of sitting empty between visits.
- Home RenovationFrom ₹800 per sq ft
An older home with a sound plan and tired finishes. Includes the demolition, debris, making good and the services behind the wall that a fresh fit-out never touches.
6 services
Room by room
One complete room, done properly: layout, joinery, lighting, ceiling and soft furnishing together. The honest choice when the budget covers one room this year and the rest can wait, and the usual way an occupied home gets renewed without moving out.
- Living Room Interior DesignFrom ₹2.5 L per living room
The room guests see. Usually the right place to start if the budget only covers one room this year.
- Bedroom Interior DesignFrom ₹2 L per bedroom
A complete room rather than a wardrobe: bed, storage, lighting layers, curtains and the ceiling above them, done as one piece of work.
- Kids Room DesignFrom ₹1.5 L per room
Rooms that have to work for a seven-year-old and a fourteen-year-old without being rebuilt in between.
- Home Office DesignFrom ₹1.2 L per room
A study that holds up on video calls: acoustics, a light direction that is not behind you, and storage for papers you still need.
- Bathroom Interior DesignFrom ₹1.5 L per bathroom
Worth isolating as a job of its own, because waterproofing and plumbing have to be right before anything decorative goes on top.
- Pooja Room DesignFrom ₹60,000 per unit
A dedicated mandir — marble, Corian, wood or brass jali — placed with Vastu in mind, either inside a larger project or on its own.
3 services
Kitchens, wardrobes & elements
The individual pieces, priced per unit or per square foot of face. These are the jobs worth doing on their own merit — a kitchen or a wardrobe wall improves daily life more than any decorative change, and either can be fitted into a home you are living in.
- Modular Kitchen DesignFrom ₹1.5 L per kitchen
The single most common standalone job. Worth doing on its own even if nothing else changes, because the hardware and the carcass board decide how it works in year five.
- Wardrobe DesignFrom ₹1,200 per sq ft
When storage is the problem and the rest of the room is fine. Priced per sq ft of shutter face, so a wall of wardrobes is easy to budget before you commit to anything bigger.
- False Ceiling DesignFrom ₹90 per sq ft
The cheapest intervention that changes how a room feels, and the one that has to happen before new wiring and lighting can be concealed.
Commercial
Interior services for businesses
Workplaces, retail, hospitality, healthcare and institutional fit-outs. Each page carries the scope, the services coordination it involves and the localities it is offered in.
5 services
Workplaces & offices
Office fit-outs live or die on coordination: HVAC, fire detection and sprinklers, structured cabling and power all have to be resolved and signed off before a single ceiling closes. The services drawing sets the programme; the design follows it.
- Office Interior DesignFrom ₹1,500 per sq ft · 322 localities
Any workplace fit-out: workstations, cabins, meeting rooms, a reception that carries the brand, and the MEP coordination underneath.
- IT Office InteriorsFrom ₹1,800 per sq ft · 28 localities
Delivery centres and tech floors, where seat density, acoustics, server rooms and a landlord's fit-out manual drive the plan.
- Co-working Space DesignFrom ₹1,400 per sq ft · 28 localities
Flexible floors that have to fill seats: a hot-desk to cabin ratio that pays rent, enough meeting rooms, and phone booths people actually use.
- Bank & Corporate Reception InteriorsFrom ₹1,800 per sq ft · 322 localities
Branches and corporate receptions where queue management, secure cabins and brand compliance all have to be designed in.
- Industrial & Warehouse Office InteriorsFrom ₹1,000 per sq ft · 45 localities
Admin blocks, mezzanine offices and canteens inside a working plant, built to real mezzanine load limits and phased around shifts.
3 services
Retail & hospitality
Spaces whose fit-out is a revenue instrument. Sightlines, seat count, service routes and lighting are costed against what they earn, and the opening date is usually fixed before the drawings are — rent is already running.
- Retail Showroom DesignFrom ₹1,800 per sq ft · 322 localities
Shops and showrooms where the fit-out is a selling tool — sightlines, fixtures, façade, signage and lighting aimed at the merchandise.
- Restaurant & Café InteriorsFrom ₹2,000 per sq ft · 322 localities
F&B, where seat count, service routes and the kitchen's exhaust and drainage decide the layout before any theme does.
- Hotel & Resort InteriorsFrom ₹2,500 per sq ft · 102 localities
Hotels and resorts: repeating keys, public areas, F&B outlets and FF&E procured with lead times and spares planned in.
4 services
Health, beauty, fitness & learning
Regulated or heavily used interiors, where the specification answers to hygiene, safety and wear rather than to taste. Cleanable surfaces, fire-rated boards, impact flooring and detailing that still looks maintained after three years of daily traffic.
- Clinic & Hospital InteriorsFrom ₹1,800 per sq ft · 322 localities
Healthcare, where patient flow, cleanable surfaces and infection-control detailing are the specification, not a style choice.
- Salon & Spa InteriorsFrom ₹1,800 per sq ft · 322 localities
Salons and spas: station count, mirror lighting that is kind to faces, wet areas detailed properly, and retail display at the front.
- Gym & Fitness Studio InteriorsFrom ₹1,500 per sq ft · 322 localities
Fitness floors: impact flooring rated for dropped weights, mirror walls, honest ventilation and locker rooms that stay dry.
- School & Institute InteriorsFrom ₹1,200 per sq ft · 322 localities
Classrooms, labs and libraries that take a thousand children a day and still look maintained in year three.
Availability
Which services are offered where
A service page exists for a locality only where the locality genuinely supports that work, which is why the counts below are not all 474. Residential services run everywhere we work. Commercial, IT, retreat and industrial services follow the character of the locality — an IT office fit-out page for a farming village would be a page we could not honestly stand behind, and it would waste your time.
Offered in every locality — 474 localities
18 residential services — whole-home packages, BHK packages, single rooms and elements like kitchens, wardrobes and ceilings — are available in all 474 localities. If you live anywhere on this page, these are open to you.
Commercial high streets and markets — 322 localities
8 services are listed only in the 322 localities tagged as commercial, because a showroom, clinic, salon, gym, school or bank branch needs footfall, parking and a frontage that residential lanes do not have. We will still work on a commercial unit outside those localities; it simply is not a market we claim to know street by street.
IT and office corridors — 28 localities
2 services sit only in the 28 IT-corridor localities. Grade-A office floors, their service lifts, their landlord fit-out rules and their HVAC and fire systems are concentrated in those corridors, and so is the work.
Hill stations and the plotted fringe — 102 localities
2 services — farmhouse interiors and hotel and resort work — appear in the 102 hill and semi-rural localities. These are specifications written against rainfall, dust and long periods of a building sitting shut, which is a different brief from a city flat.
Industrial belts — 45 localities
1 service covers factory admin blocks, mezzanine offices, canteens and QC cabins, and is listed in the 45 localities that are genuine industrial belts. Work there has to clear gate security and a fire NOC, and be phased so production never stops.
FAQ
Choosing and scoping a project
Do I need a full-home package or just a few individual services?+
Count the rooms. Above three, a whole-home package is cheaper than buying the same rooms separately — one mobilisation, one measurement exercise, one crew, matched materials. At or below three, individual room and element services are the honest choice, and the most common starting points are a modular kitchen, a wardrobe wall or the living room. You can also phase it: do the kitchen and living room now and keep the same drawings and specification for the bedrooms next year.
What exactly is included in a turnkey interior project?+
Design and 3D views, factory-made modular units, civil work, electrical and plumbing, false ceiling, painting, installation, a deep clean and a handover walkthrough — all on one contract with one project manager. Excluded, and listed separately: GST, society deposits and NOC charges, appliances and loose furniture you buy directly, and structural changes needing municipal permission. 4 of our services are quoted as a complete package of this kind; the rest are per square foot or per unit.
How is per-square-foot pricing calculated — carpet, built-up or super built-up?+
Carpet area of the spaces actually being worked on, measured on site. Quoting the same job on super built-up area inflates it by roughly a fifth for no additional work, which is why a per-sq-ft rate is meaningless until you know which area it is applied to. Ask any designer that question before comparing two rates.
What does interior design cost in Pune?+
Full-home residential work runs at an indicative ₹800 – ₹5,000 per sq ft depending on specification and locality, and complete BHK packages from ₹3.5 L to ₹60 L. Commercial fit-outs run ₹1,000 – ₹7,000 per sq ft, higher largely because of services and compliance rather than finish. Standalone items are quoted per unit — a modular kitchen from ₹1.5 L, for example. All of it is indicative until a site visit; the figure that binds us is the itemised quote.
Is renovating an old home cheaper than a fresh fit-out?+
Not reliably. Renovation saves nothing on new joinery and adds demolition, debris removal, making good, and whatever the walls hide — old wiring, failing concealed plumbing, waterproofing that has already gone. It is clearly the right choice when the layout works and only the finishes are tired. When the layout itself is the problem, price both: once you are moving walls and services, a bare-shell fit-out can land close to the renovation figure with a better result.
Can I start with one room and extend the project later?+
Yes, and it is how a lot of occupied homes get renewed. The practical advice is to do any work that touches services or ceilings first — electrical, plumbing, false ceiling — because those are the items that force you to reopen finished work later. We keep the drawings, the finish schedule and the hardware specification on file so a later phase matches instead of approximating.
Are all services available everywhere you work?+
No, and the pages say so. 18 services are offered in all 474 localities. The rest are listed only where the locality supports them: commercial services across the 322 commercial localities, IT office work in the 28 IT-corridor localities, resort and farmhouse work in the 118 hill and semi-rural localities, and industrial office work in the 45 industrial belts. That produces 11,413 service and locality combinations in total.
How long does a project take, and when does the clock start?+
From 7 days for a false ceiling to 180 days for a hotel or resort, measured from design sign-off rather than from your first enquiry. Before that come measurement, drawings, revisions and the itemised quote. In a housing society, the work-hour window and lift booking rules will add time to the on-site phase, so we build that into the programme instead of discovering it in week two.
